Here at Band Back Together, we have a lot of people working behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly. Who knew that running a site like this took so much work?

But it does and we have some of the most amazing volunteers who give their time, energy, brains and inspiration to us so that Band Back Together can do what we do -- bust stigmas in the ass and inspire others to use their voice to tell their story.

To thank our Brains Behind The Band, we are going to be interviewing and highlighting them. Please give them some love, thanks and help us make them feel appreciated.

We couldn't do it without them.

Today, we want to introduce you to Cathi Carlino. Cathi has been given 20 questions to answer to help you all get to know her better! Enjoy!

Cathi is a creative, neurotic optimist with a passion for family, writing, reading, crafting, and lazy Sunday afternoons. Wife of one; mom of two; sister to more than a few; friend to the many. She writes on her site at Mumma Boo x2 and is With The Band!!

1. In two sentences, why are you With The Band?

I believe in the power of "paying it forward". Please see my recent post for the The Band, Serendipity, for the full story!

2. What do you do for Band Back Together?

A little bit of everything! I edit posts, write and audit Resource Pages, help with volunteer coordination, and whatever else the Board tells me to do.

3. What's your go-to outfit when you're going to the grocery store?

Jeans and some kind of shirt, depending on the weather. I live in my jeans.

4. If you won 47 million dollars in the lottery, what would you do first with it?

Hmmmm...first? Get it in the bank, and lovingly ogle that deposit slip. Often.

5. Team Edward or Team Jacob or Team I-Don't-Know-What-You're-Talking-About?

You can keep the boys. This woman is most assuredly on Team Hugh Jackman.

6. What is the most eye-opening thing you've learned from your association with Band Back Together?

That I am more like my mother than I ever dreamed. And that's a good thing.

7. Why are you so awesome?

Because I'm a spread-sheet lovin' whore who can organize the crap out of anything.

8. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

New Zealand

9. Sex scenes in a book -- do you read them or skip them?

Skip 'em, unless I need a good laugh. "Golden member"? Really? There ain't nothin' gold about THATmember.

10. Toilet paper - over or under?

Over.

11. When I grow up I want to be...

... retired, with enough money and good health to do what I want to do!

12. If you were a superhero, what would you do? What would your name be?

Behold! I am the Cerebral Dominatrix! Without a doubt, I'd elect mind-control as my superpower. A little Jedi mind-trickery would be VERY useful.

13. Bacon or sausage? (as I know there are some non-bacon lovers out there)

Bacon!

14. Cupcake or doughnut? (although, really, is there a choice?)

Cupcake!

15. Where is your favorite place in the world?

Cape Cod, MA - during the off-season. :)

16. What are your favorite activities for fun?

Reading, writing, crafting, playing ball with my kids, baking decadent desserts, LazerTag and Bunco nights with the girls!

17. Where are you from, or where did you grow up?

I grew up just outside of Albany, NY.

18. Winter or Summer?

Winter. I'm so bummed we didn't have more snow this year! *ducks*

19. Mac or PC?

PC

20. What do you hope to leave as your legacy a long time from now when you are gone from this world?

You mean besides the life-size bronze statue of me as the Cerebral Dominatrix, (all 5 feet of it)? Honestly, the best legacy I could hope for is that the people whose lives I've touched remember me as someone who impacted them in a positive way. And my whoopee pies. They should remember my kick-ass whoopee pies.
