I truly DID IT!!
"What?" I hear you ask. I booked a plane ticket to Chicago!
It will be my first time visiting the States (I live in the Netherlands) and the first time leaving my two and a half year old daughter. My sister moved to Chicago in 2011 when she married her American boyfriend, and I miss her.
Booking the ticket had me feeling terrified: What if I have complications (I'll be 26 weeks pregnant)? What if something happens to my daughter and I'm not there? WHAT IF...
To that anxiety I said BOOYAH! I did it. I booked my ticket. In March I will be flying to the U.S.
And I feel FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC!
