About me

Who am I? I am all of us.

I am the sum of my fears, my loves, and my experiences. I am a tattooed, pierced writer who spends her day wrangling cats, editing, cross-stitching and volunteering (a fancy way of saying "I'm a saint so I'm used to never getting paid."*), then running and snuggling her high school sweetheart and kitties. I am a Buddhist who actively practices forgiveness, acceptance and compassion every day.

I am bipolar, live with panic disorder and agoraphobia, manage my health problems and try to move away from my distorted body image and disordered eating. I am a survivor of emotional and psychological abuse. I am afraid of many things.

I am not perfect. I am all women. I am one woman. I am abhaya.

I am you, and you are me. And together, we are badasses.
